Adriana Troutman is a third year student at Ohio University studying Forensic Psychology from Youngstown, Ohio. She is completing an internship at Athens CASA in Spring 2022.
What brought you to work for CASA?
I am currently a student at Ohio University majoring in Psychology. I chose to do an internship with CASA because the work done here is very inspiring and I find working in child services to be very interesting and rewarding.
Why is CASA important?
CASA is important because this organization gives a voice to children in need and continuously helps these children and their families.
What do you do outside of CASA?
Outside of CASA I enjoy cooking, shopping, and spending time with my friends and family.
How do you wind down? Any self-care tips?
I enjoy listening to music and going on drives to ease my mind when I'm stressed. I also enjoy quality time with my friends and family when I'm able to see them.
What is one thing people may not know about you?
I have been studying Italian language courses for seven years.
What is something you have learned recently?
Since starting this internship I have learned how important it is to stand up for the things you believe in and are passionate about.
